Remember when phones were just phones? Nokia sure does, which is why they’ve made the Nokia 100 for those of us who just want a simple reliable inexpensive way of keeping in contact. To that end the Nokia 100 is Nokia's most affordable colour display phone. The 1.8 inch TFT display may not be big enough to enjoy video or web browsing but it is clear, bright and easy to read. The Nokia 100 interface is straight forward relying on a familiar grid style layout allowing you to easily and quickly access the phones features. Calls are logged and all your contacts and messages are stored on the phones internal memory. You also get impressive battery life with over 7 hours of talk time and well over a week of standby. You certainly won’t find yourself reaching for a charger everyday like you would with a power hungry smartphone.
The Nokia 100 uses the standard bar layout with a physical keypad set below its screen. Its compact and light allowing it to easily slip into a pocket or bag without weighing you down. Its plastic case and robust construction should see it survive plenty day to day, wear and tear. While the Nokia 100 does not have any camera it does feature a powerful flashlight which can be surprisingly useful if say you’ve dropped your keys in the dark. A Stereo FM radio is also a nice inclusion for when you want to relax and listen to some music. Overall the Nokia 100 does pretty much what it says on the tin. If you’re looking for a simple no nonsense phone for making phone calls then you need look no further than the Nokia 100
